Rezoning Case R-04-2017 - The Planning Commission of the City of Moraine, Ohio, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439 to give consideration to a proposed zoning district change for City Lots 3372 and 3373. The property is currently zoned B-1 Neighborhood Business. Located at 2085 Springboro West, the property totals 1.057 acres +/-. The proposed zoning change would place the parcels in Moraine’s B-2 General Business District.

NOTICE - In the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, Civil Division, 41 N. Perry St., Dayton, OH 45402, Case Number: 2017-CV-2823, City of Moraine, Ohio v. Defendants Marcia Ann Maurice and Mark Carr, 4040 Fulton Ave., Dayton, OH 45439. After numerous charges of violating ordinances, the Plaintiff, City of Moraine filed a Complaint for occupying property in a manner that violates the Building and Zoning Code, and disposing concrete, metal, construction material and other junk and debris from exterior of 4040 Fulton Ave, and Injunctive Relief against Defendants Marcia Ann Maurice and Mark Carr on June 15, 2017. Plaintiff’s request for relief includes entering the property to remove all trash, junk and debris and cost to be paid by Defendants. Defendants shall have up to and including twenty-eight (28) days to file an answer from the date of this publication.

Text Amendment Case TA-01-2017 - The Moraine City Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439 to give consideration to proposed changes to the Zoning Code. Proposed changes include amendments to Chapter 1115, Definitions, and Chapter 1185, Supplemental Regulations. The proposal would amend regulations dealing with the cultivation, processing and retail dispensing of marijuana for the purpose of medical use.

Rezoning Case R-03-2017 - The Moraine City Council, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Moraine Municipal Building, 4200 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439 to give consideration to a proposed zoning district change for a portion of City Lot PT 3397. The property is currently zoned R-4 Multiple Family Residential and M-1 Light Industrial. Located on the West side of Vance Road, North of the Railroad crossing, the property totals 64.504 acres +/-. The proposed zoning change would place the area in Moraine’s R-2 Single Family Residential District.

RFP - Deer Meadow Possum Creek Connector - The City of Moraine in conjunction with the Five Rivers Metroparks has received a Clean Ohio grant for the construction of a bike way project and is seeking proposals for the design of said project. This is a local project using Clean Ohio and local funds.

LOCATION: Between Deer Meadow Park and Possum Creek Metropark

SCOPE: The project is to prepare construction plans and bid packet for the approximately 0.85 mile bike path. The path will be asphalt pavement, 10 feet wide. The alignment will be cross fa1m and park lands with two road crossings at Soldiers Home- West Carrollton Road and Shank Road. One easement will be required from Montgomery County parcel no. j44204113 0018. The consultant will prepare the documents needed for the transaction and the City will pe1form the negotiation and acquisition. A CE has been approved for the project so no further environmental documentation is needed.

The proposal must include the following:

• Company Name, address of office/s where the work will be performed.
• Project Manager with resume and brief discussion of relevant experience.
• Sub-Consultants.
• A list of all similar projects designed by the company within the last five years with a list of the key personnel and their resumes.
• References for the above list of projects.
• A proposed scope of services for design drawings and detail specifications for the project and the associated cost.
• A proposed scope of services for the easement documentation and associated cost.
• A proposed scope of services for creation of construction bid documents.
• A scope of services and cost for as-built drawings.
