  This program, funded by a new grant awarded to the Gerhardt Civic Center, will give teens ages 12 -15 years, programming and tutoring options that we have not had before at the Center. Everyone interested in participating in this program, must apply to be a member of the group, only 30 teens will be taken into the program. This group will have FREE tutoring help, FREE special events & cultural outings! Meetings, Events, & Tutoring will be held on weeknight evenings from 6:00pm – 8:000pm. • Moraine Nutrition Program

  The Moraine Senior Nutrition Program has been serving hot lunches to area seniors for the past 25 years. All of the meals are well balances and nutritious. They are brought to the Moraine Civic Center Site by the Senior Resource Connection. The meals are served, Monday thru Friday,  cafeteria style in the Commons Room of the Center. The Moraine Civic Center is located at 3050 Kreitzer Rd., Moraine. Please feel free to come to the site and visit or call the Civic Center at 535-1095.

  Are you eligible to participate in The Senior Nutrition Program?

  • If you are 60 years of age or older
  • If your spouse is 60+ years old, but you are less than 60, you may also participate
  • If you are under 60 years old and deemed ineligible by the Senior Resource Connection – you may participate but you must pay $4.65 per meal.

  Monthly Senior Nutrition Events

  • Crazy Bingo: Monday
  • Euchre: Tuesday & Thursday, Noon to 1:30pm
  • Puzzles: Tuesday & Thursday, Noon to 1:30pm
  • Movie  & Board Game Night: Once a month
