Jack Sexton

Jack Sexton Jack Sexton has lived in Moraine his entire life. He and his wife Linda reside in his family home at 2756 Cadillac Street. Combined, he and Linda have five children: Kristi (39), Philippe (33), Justin (29), Ryan (28), and Danielle (26). They also have two grandchildren – Kayla who is nine years old and Conner who is one year old.

Mr. Sexton has been employed with Sugarcreek School for over 20 years in their Maintenance Department. Recently he opened up his own business here in Moraine - Jack’s Barber Shop. Opening his own shop has been a dream for Jack who always wanted to work in Moraine among friends and family while providing a service to the community.

He is proud of his business just like he is proud of his family history. His parents helped carry petitions to make Moraine a Township and then later a City. His father was Justice-of-the-Peace in Moraine for many years.

In his spare time, Jack stays active by being a member of the Browns Backers Club of Dayton, the Masonic Lodge, and Moraine City Baptist Church. Mr. Sexton loves living in Moraine because “I love going around town, seeing my friends, and meeting new people throughout the City. I love the people here. I also enjoy the Heritage Festival which is always full of great entertainment.”

When asked what projects he would like to see in Moraine’s future, Jack said he would like to “make Moraine more pleasant for its residents”. In addition he would like to “see boat rides on the river, the Civic Center remodeled, drain gutters repaired on Dryden and Kreitzer Roads.” He added that he would like to “see the church on Holman Street demolished, removed, and have that area rebuilt for residents and children.” Furthermore, he would like to “see a bicycle and skate course accessible to Moraine children.” Finally, he says, “I would like to see Moraine Citizens treated with dignity and respect as they once were. I care about our community and I want to see changes that benefit our residents.”
