Elaine Allison

Council-At-Large member Elaine Allison moved to Moraine in 1997. Together, she and her husband operate a horse boarding facility on their farm. A graduate of Miami University, Mrs. Allison is a business banking officer at a local bank. In her spare time, Mrs. Allison enjoys reading, volunteering with animal groups, working around the farm, and playing with their many dogs and cats.
Mrs. Allison has always been eager to serve her community. She is active in the Rotary Club and is a past president. She also volunteers at the Humane Society of Greater Dayton and has deployed with the emergency animal rescue division of United Animal Nations (UAN). Mrs. Allison first became involved with City government as a member of the Personnel Appeals Board. First elected to City Council in 2001, re-elected in 2005 and 2009, Mrs. Allison took office again in January 2010. She currently serves as Finance Committee Chair and is the deputy mayor.
"I have enjoyed working with our City staff and citizens to make Moraine the best City it can be," Mrs. Allison explained. " I'm looking forward to the completion of several current projects, especially the new housing development on Lamme Road."
During her tenure, Mrs. Allison's progressive thinking and support for innovation has made her a key member of the City of Moraine team. Mrs. Allison also encourages an open door policy.
