DMAX celebrates 10 years

DMAX welcomed the community and all workers to their 10th Anniversary celebration on August 20, 2010. The anniversary luncheon marked 10 highly successful years of building and supplying the GM truck industry with the durable and efficient Duramax diesel engine. The day’s festivities included presentations by GM and Isuzu leadership, facility tours, test drives, a catered lunch, and tremendous true stories related to the durability of the Duramax engine. In fact, one truck was hitting its 1 millionth mile, that’s right a million miles on one DMAX manufactured engine.

The day also saw DMAX CEO Maho Mitsuya be honored and recognized for his ten years of dedicated service. Maho has been an invaluable advocate to the success of DMAX and its workforce. Maho received a commemorative coin provided to only one other DMAX executive in its history.

The crowd was substantial with local, regional and federal leaders in attendance, including several staff and City Council members, as well as the entire DMAX Team. We look forward to DMAX’ next ten years.
